The smarter podcast player
TrimPlayer automatically learns what to skip in every podcast you follow — intros, outros, and ads — without any setup, crowd-sourcing, or manual input. The content starts the moment you press play.
The problem
You subscribed because the conversations are brilliant. But every episode arrives wrapped in the same theme music, the same sponsor reads, the same sign-off you've heard a hundred times before.
Nobody chose to listen to that. They just couldn't avoid it.
Until now.
of the average episode is filler — intro, outro, or ads

saved per year, per show — at just 4 episodes a week
The difference
Every episode, two realities. One is what the RSS feed delivers. The other is what TrimPlayer plays.
How it works
No setup. No crowd-sourcing. No community database. TrimPlayer quietly figures out each show on its own — and gets sharper with every episode you play.
As you play episodes, TrimPlayer quietly analyses the audio in the background — learning what sounds like content, and what sounds like noise that's just there every single time.
Intros, outros, and ads sound the same episode after episode. TrimPlayer spots the pattern, remembers it, and marks it for skipping — without you ever having to point anything out.
Detected segments are stored with millisecond precision. When you press play, the app silently jumps past each one. The cut is seamless. You never hear it — you just hear the show.
Your listening history is never sold, never shared with anyone, and never used to build ad profiles. Not now, not ever. And if you ever want to leave, your subscriptions and data export cleanly to any other app you choose. We'd rather earn your stay than make it hard to go.
What it does
TrimPlayer doesn't add friction to your listening. It removes it.
Theme music, countdown timers, "welcome back" openers — learned from the first few episodes and silently skipped forever. Applies to every episode in every feed you follow.
Baked-in reads, dynamic injections, jingle-framed mid-rolls. The entire block — opener, live read, closer — is detected and merged into one clean skip with no choppy cuts.
No SponsorBlock. No community database. No manual editor. Subscribe to a feed — TrimPlayer figures it out on its own. The skipping just starts happening, quietly and automatically.
Your listening history is never sold or shared with anyone — ever. And if you want to leave, everything exports cleanly. Take your subscriptions to any app you choose. We hope you never do, but the door is always open.
Built on the proven AntennaPod foundation — variable speed, sleep timer, chapter navigation, OPML import, and offline downloads. Everything a dedicated listener expects, plus the intelligence layer on top.
Each episode you listen to sharpens the model. Confidence scores improve, edge cases resolve, detection deepens. The longer you use it, the smarter it gets at skipping the right thing.
The vision
We didn't build a skip button. Skip buttons require attention — you have to notice the filler, decide to act, and interrupt what you're doing. That's still the wrong solution.
TrimPlayer's goal is invisibility. Subscribe to a podcast, and from the third episode onwards, it just plays content. No filler, no pausing, no button to press. The intelligence runs quietly behind every episode, in every feed, for every subscriber — and you never think about it again.
Podcasts are one of the last great formats for deep, uninterrupted thinking. They deserve a player built for listeners who are fully present — not waiting for the content to start.
